EXCLUSIVE: Shalini Passi reveals son Robin and Aryan Khan have THIS thing in common; talks about ties with Shah Rukh Khan’s family

Shalini Passi supports the Delhi Society for the Welfare of Special Children. In 2021, she raised funds for Covid Relief India by organising an online exhibition. The socialite is married to businessman Sanjay Passi, and they have a son, Robin. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Shalini Passi reveals the commonality between son Robin and Aryan Khan and talks about a close bond with Shah Rukh Khan and his family.

When asked about her connection with Shah Rukh Khan, Shalini Passi said, “So, they are our family friends. My husband and Shah Rukh have studied together in school and college. And Gauri was my husband’s neighbour. Then my son, Robin and Aryan Khan went to University together.”

Shalini Passi on husband Sanjay Passi

Speaking about her businessman husband, Sanjay Passi, Shalini Passi said, “Sanjay doesn’t watch TV, he reads news on apps and stuff. He doesn’t allow anyone to watch the news on TV. After all, I get very disturbed because everyone speaks so loudly and those red bands come to the scrolling, it’s the same line, it is not like I am learning anything new. So that was giving me a lot of stress, and no one was allowed to switch on the TV when I was around. So he is quite happy about it, a lot of his friends, aunties message him, all the cousins from all over the world, friends so he is very happy that it has turned out well.”

Shalini Passi and Shah Rukh Khan’s connection

Shalini Passi is an art curator and reality TV star, who has a close relationship with Bollywood power couple Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan. Their connection stems from their husbands’ college days at Hansraj College in Delhi, and their families’ history of being neighbours. Shalini’s husband Sanjay Passi and Shah Rukh Khan were batchmates at Hansraj College. Sanjay and Gauri were neighbours in Delhi.
Shalini’s son Robin and Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan went to the same university and are only six months apart. Shah Rukh and Gauri attended Shalini and Sanjay’s wedding. Gauri supported Shalini during her appearance on the reality show Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives. Shalini has said that she admires Shah Rukh Khan’s love of reading, his parenting style, and his hospitality. She also called him a kind-hearted person who inspires people of all ages.
